Excerpt from "Feng Shui: It's Good For Business!"

How will I know when to Feng Shui my Home Office?

Basically, pay attention every time you make changes in the way you do business or when changes occur. When things "feel" different somehow, know that you need to take a little time to pay attention to the details of your environment. then, after making the appropriate Feng Shui adjustments, check to make sure that new circumstances work to your benefit. When the business changes for the better, spend some time making shifts in the environment to reflect what is going on in the business.

If you feel tired, "down" or stressed, get out your Ba-gua and target the Health Life Station. Or, if business is slow and it seems like it takes several hours to accomplish something that usually only takes one, once again, target Health. Are you starting a new business? Find the Ba-Gua and target the Career Life Station. Need more customers or clients? Target Benefactors. Are the people who work with or for you out of sorts with one another (or with you)? Target Relationships. All of these situations and many more can be improved by using Feng Shui.

Sometimes we only need to spend a moment or two fine-tuning the space in order to keep the Qi in our businesses flowing in a positive and beneficial way. When you make Feng Shui changes, mark your calendar. Check back in a few days and again in a few weeks to see how things are going. Generally I recommend that you take time to do an overview of the practical organization in your office and of the Feng Shui at least every six months. Scan your office and make a few adjustments at least every three months. Some businesses need a lot of attention, and some do not. Eventually you will find the schedule that works for you.
