Often we are so entrenched in the continuum of living we forget that every process must have a beginning, middle and, ultimately, a result! Sometimes we need to step out of our mundane routines and think about where our lives are going. We all know that habits and thought patterns are hard to break! It is very hard to stop doing something that has become comfortable and familiar.
When an interruption occurs in the course of our journey, it's a good idea to pay attention to the area of our lives that has been interrupted. Mercury Rx transits often bring opportunities to stop in our tracks (even if just for a moment), examine the situation to see if alternatives for our current routines can be considered. The longer the "stop" the more time we have to study our alternatives and test the viability of our choices. . .
. . .There are usually two ways to become aware of our Mercury Rx lessons. One is to suddenly notice that we are repeating the same actions over and over again, and arriving at the same unsatisfactory conclusion! The other way is to notice something/someone disturbing the regular rhythm of our life. There is a noticeable 'glitch' (interference) in the flow of energy in our world. When you notice one of these phenomena, try not to become frustrated! Become curious and figure out which lessons may be the current mercury Retrograde assignment. I have listed a few of the possibilities below . . . . .
. . . . In the course of our daily lives we may not often take time to think about the importance of the "little things". Mercury is a "small" quickly moving planet. It brings these "little things" into our focus during the short time it aspects our personal planets and moves through the houses of our Natal Charts. When Mercury transits in Retrograde Motion, its progress through our personal zodiac is slowed down, giving us an opportunity to focus in on some "little things" for a concentrated period of time. When the "little things" become major irritants we are forced to remember that life is not only about big projects, life-altering experiences, visions of the spirit, causes, meaning and purpose Life is comprised of many parts, all of which add up to a WHOLE. . . . .
